Colleges to Counselors (C2C)C2C provides an opportunity for Iowa ACAC member colleges & organizations to share institutional updates with high school counselors. The event  includes a college fair for networking and to hand out promotional literature. Lunch is included for school counselors and college admissions professionals. Our 2025 dates and locations are: Tuesday, October 21 @ University of Northern IowaTuesday, October 28 @ Graceland University

 NEW - ACAC Connect Mentorship Program!   We're excited to reintroduce our Mentorship Program for connections, learning, and support for our college admission professionals. *  Want to be paired up with a mentor? Mentees are suggested to have less than 3 years of admissions experience. *  Want to be a mentor and help those just starting out? Mentors need to have 3+ years of experience.    Whether you want to have a mentor or be a mentor, please complete the form below to get started! 
 Admission Counselor University (ACU)   This popular annual event is designed for new admission professionals, offering practical training and tools to build a strong foundation as an admissions counselor. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with peers, grow professionally, and collaborate with others who are passionate about supporting students on their college journey.   
  The R.I.D.E. - Rediscovering Iowa's Diverse Education This free, three-day bus tour provides a door-to-door, first-hand look at college campuses and what each school offers students. Each year the RIDE's region of travel changes, taking counselors to a variety of colleges in a specific region for tours, hands-on learning, meals and even overnights in residence halls.
